Served 26 years with the Sheriff’s Office. She worked up from deputy to sergeant to lieutenant to captain.
Keep taxpayer dollars local. Focus on opiate and substance use disorders. Prepare agency for growth of the community. Address crimes against seniors. Assist those that were victimized by sex trafficking. Create veterans’ units in the jail.  On Oct. 3, she filed a federal lawsuit, saying she was discriminated against because of her gender. The suit alleges she was passed over for promotions before she retired at the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office last year.
